ABOUT GOLDEN DAYS
Connection is the service
Golden Days was founded on a simple belief. A Senior's day changes entirely when someone turns up just to spend time with them.
Golden Days visit Seniors in residential aged care facilities and private homes across Canberra, ACT.
Visits might include a chat about the recent news , a walk nearby or within the facility, a board game, or looking back through old photographs and stories. After every visit, families receive a personal update via email.
For Seniors making the transition to aged care, the Golden Welcome Program offers something rare: a friendly, familiar companion during those first difficult weeks in a new residence.
Golden Days spend time helping the client find their way around, join group activities and mealtimes with confidence and settle in without feeling alone.
The result is a genuinely happy settling-in period and a confident start to this next chapter of life in a new home.
Vouchers are also available and make meaningful gifts for loved ones.
A familiar face for Mum or Dad on the days you cannot be there
Most of your Mum or Dad's day is quieter than you realise.
A regular visit from a familiar face gives them something to look forward to
and makes a huge difference to their week.
Trusted, unhurried and entirely personal. Golden Days provide one-on-one personal companionship to become that familiar face your loved one can get to know, rather than an irregular rostered carer.
Golden Days visit Seniors across Canberra for personal companionship walks, games, conversation and whatever our clients enjoy doing most.

WHY FAMILIES CHOOSE GOLDEN DAYS
Peace of mind for families
Many of the clients Golden Days work with are adult children managing busy lives from within Canberra or interstate. They trust us to be the consistent, caring presence they would usually be, when we spend time with their parents.
You will hear from us after every visit. A short, personal note on how your parent was, what we talked about, and how they seemed when we left. Families tell us this email is what keeps them feeling close, even from a distance.
Golden Days take privacy seriously. Photographs are only ever taken with permission, are shared with family and never posted publicly or used in any advertising. Golden Days does not share personal information. This is a private, professional service, held to the highest standard.
Staff hold current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registrations, National Police Certificates and First Aid certifications. Discretion and care are built into everything we do.
"Having someone we can truly trust with Mum has made all the difference. Kimberley doesn't just visit,
she genuinely cares."
